Detail-oriented and motivated
Entry-Level Drafter. In this role, you will assist in preparing layouts using AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-specific software, in compliance with standards and local codes. Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers and project managers with the preparation of submittal drawings
- Update and revise drawings as needed throughout the design and construction process
- Coordinate with other trades and design disciplines
- Prepare material takeoffs and assist in creating stock lists
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Attend project meetings as needed (virtual or in-person)
- Reliable and predictable attendance is required for the function of this job*

Education, Experience, Knowledge
AutoCAD experience/Drafting Experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of or enrollment in a drafting, engineering, or CAD-related technical program is preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required, experience with Revit a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within the fire protection industry
