Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and versatile Skilled Construction Worker to join our team. This role covers a wide range of construction tasks, from small repair jobs to more complex kitchen and bathroom remodels. Typical project durations range from a few hours to several days, with most technicians working 35-45 hours per week. There are no evening shifts, and most weekends are free, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.
Key Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- 4 to 7 years of relevant construction experience
- Good electrical and plumbing knowledge
- Experience in drywall installation and finishing
- Tiling skills for bathroom and kitchen remodels
- Proficiency in doors/windows installation
- Rough framing and finish carpentry experience for remodeling projects
- Stucco experience
- Blueprint reading proficiency
- Flooring installation skills
- A reliable, suitable vehicle for construction work (such as a truck or van)
- A personal set of all necessary construction tools for a wide range of tasks
- A clean criminal background and driving record
- Local area residency
Responsibilities
- Perform frame carpentry, including the installation of walls and structures.
- Execute drywall installation and finishing tasks to ensure a smooth surface.
- Conduct plumbing and electrical work as needed, adhering to safety standards.
- Apply stucco and trim carpentry techniques to enhance building aesthetics.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain quality.
