Summary:
A Service Coordinator helps plan and coordinate a wide range of Inspection and Service projects. This may include Residential, Commercial, New Construction, and Tenant Improvements. You will organize and assist Inspection/Service procedures and ensure they are completed quickly and efficiently. An excellent Project Coordinator must be well-versed in all fire protection methodologies and procedures. Must have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.
Duties And Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers and provide backup in their overall responsibilities.
- Keep project information up to date through the use of company software (BuilderTrend).
- Direct customer communication where needed.
- Help to determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish within the ITM/Service Division.
- Facilitate data flow through the organization in conjunction with multiple departments.
- Monitor company’s software while keeping projects on track and up to date with present and necessary future items in mind.
- Ensuring team performance in the software as well as during projects.
- Perform general office and admin functions as necessary to achieve company’s goals.
- Prepare detailed reports.
- Proficient in general computer programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, among others.
- A general point of contact for the customer and the company’s divisions regarding the project, as needed.
- Proactively and confidently work with little to no supervision.
- Listening, negotiation, organizational, oral and written communication skills for efficient multi-tasking.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interface with various teams and departments.
- Attends departmental meetings as required and/or needed.
- Become expert in the company’s project management software.
