Summary
The Warehouse Utility Associate position is critical to support warehouse needs by ensuring a safe and productive work environment. Duties may include shipping and receiving, processing order requests, making deliveries, managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse, assembly of parts and material and welding. May perform other work as assigned.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist in shipping and receiving, unloading trucks, and checking in merchandise.
- Assembly of parts and material.
- Prepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area with attention to detail.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Assist with delivery of materials and ensure that material loads are completed and accurate.
- Performs routine inspections of vehicles and supplies to ensure road safety.
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
- Work on welding/fabrication projects in the shop.
- Keeps welding equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirement.
- Help in the setup and breakdown of corporate events: quarterly meetings, training, and holiday celebrations.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat.
- Other duties as assigned.
