YOU
As the Training Coordinator, you will support the plant in ensuring the required training is completed on time. This will be done by working closely with Department Managers, Supervisors and Leads.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Conduct in-person training for operations employees, ensuring thorough onboarding of new hires. Assist with on-the-job evaluations and provide training to enhance skills based on supervisor assessments. (45%)
Coordinate required training plans throughout the plant to ensure completion. Support the design and development of training programs and materials by updating and creating work instructions and or required documentation. Organize training logistics and support the plant in facilitating and scheduling training to ensure departments meet training requirements. (20%)
Evaluate learners' understanding of the material and analyze the effectiveness of the training to identify necessary adjustments to improve training programs and materials. (10%)
Communicate learning needs and system accuracy using our Learning Management System. (10%)
Special projects assigned by the Technical Training Supervisor - Operations or Branch Manager. (5%)
Create and maintain a plant training calendar to track the progress and outcomes of all training. (5%)
Collaborate with other departments (i.e. Lean, HR, and Safety) to schedule additional training that those departments require for plant employees. (5%)
Desired Skills And Experience

- A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of Training Role or similar in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
- Communication: Clearly exchanges thoughts, ideas, and messages through written, verbal, and non-verbal methods that promote an understanding with the target audience. Listen carefully and attentively. Able to effectively present to varying levels of the organization.
- Computer Skills: Ability to work with computer software to communicate team results and training concepts, such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to Detail: Is attentive to detail and accuracy, performs quality work, continuously looks for improvements, finds the root cause of problems, owns/acts on issues, and seeks opportunities to increase effectiveness and efficiency.
- Accountability & Dependability: Meets commitments, works independently, accepts ownership of projects and outcomes, takes personal responsibility and sets objectives/standards, stays focused under pressure, meets attendance/punctuality requirements, and shows a sense of urgency about getting results.
- Analysis/Reasoning: Ability to deal with problems with many variables in standardized and non-standardized situations.
- Self-Management: Tackles problems and takes independent action, seeks out new responsibilities, acts on opportunities, generates new ideas, practices self-development, demonstrates a bias for action without prompting

WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in both a professional office environment, and on the warehouse/production floor. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times.
TRAVEL
This position may require domestic up to 10% of the time.
WORK STATUS & LOCATION
This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Stockton, CA.
RELOCATION
Relocation is not available for this position.
PAY
$24.09 - $36.15 / hour
