Chrisp Company, specializing in the highway improvement construction industry for over 40 years, is seeking a Yard Associate for our Fremont, California location.

Summary:

Clean, fuel, load, and unload trucks. Keep warehouse and yard clean, organized and safe. Assist in getting field crews out of yard as efficiently as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Yard

Trucks: load, unload, fuel, and clean on a daily basis
Keep yard clean and orderly at all times
Pull orders in advance from material lists
Will be required to make deliveries to job sites in company vehicle
Other duties as assigned

2) Hours

Monday - Friday (4:30 am - 1:00 pm or 10:00 am - 6:30 pm)
Weekends / Overtime - Will be dependent upon the needs of the business

3) General Requirements:

Detail and service oriented
Reliable and responsible
Must be able to pass a standard drug test
Must have a valid California driver’s license and clean DMV record (A copy of your DMV report will be reviewed during an interview)
Warehouse experience a plus
Routinely moves equipment / materials weighing 50 lbs.
Minimum education required: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Experience filling propane tanks a plus
Class A or Class B commercial license a plus
