Our specialty medical practice has an immediate opening for an experienced Medical Office Front Desk Receptionist at our office. Must be willing to travel and work in other Knoxville metro area offices as needed.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: (List does not include all duties assigned)

Provide great customer service to our patients in a friendly, courteous and helpful manner.

Optimize patients' satisfaction by completing the check in and check out process accurately.

Verify and update necessary information in the medical records/database, perform all registration functions and collect co-pays and balances due as appropriate.

Perform copying and faxing of documents.

Sort and deliver incoming faxes and packages.

Maintain computerized scheduling and follows office scheduling policies.

Answer and screen telephone calls, take messages, and provide appropriate information to phone callers as wells as handling outgoing phone calls as appropriate.

Maintain work area and lobby in neat and orderly manner.

Maintain strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.

Knowledge of spelling, grammar and punctuation needed to process patient information along with the ability to file materials correctly by alphabetic or numeric processes.

Knowledge of computer systems and applications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.27 - $18.45 per hour
