Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Estimator/ Project Manager to oversee and manage electrical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, project management, and electrical systems. This role requires effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Electrical Project Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of electrical projects including planning, execution, and completion.
- Coordinate with construction site teams to ensure adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Develop and maintain project schedules while implementing cost control measures.
- Prepare and review project documentation including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
- Negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure favorable terms.
- Ensure compliance with NEC standards and other relevant regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to achieve project goals.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical project management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety standards related to electrical work.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to manage contracts effectively.
- Proficient in cost control techniques and budgeting processes for electrical projects.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site at construction locations as required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
