Blue Bell Mattress is a third-generation family owned business which began as a Hartford, Connecticut manufacturer in 1928. For over 87 years, the company has grown and maintained a reputation for manufacturing high quality bedding products under the Blue Bell Mattress and the King Koil brands.
We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as aa EXPERIENCED Maintenance Technician. In our Blue Bell culture, everyone wears many different hats, which is a large part of our success. We are looking for the right fit!
Machinery experience is necessary, with sewing machine knowledge large benefit. Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring, repairing, maintaining and adjusting machinery
- Set-up of operations equipment
- Troubleshooting equipment (mechanical and electrical)
- Preventive maintenance on building, grounds and machinery
- Minor plumbing and facility maintenance
Job Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge
- Team player
- Detail oriented
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance
- General math skills
- General computer knowledge
- Sitting, walking, bending and lifting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:
- Maintenance: 3 years (Preferred)
- Machinery Knowledge: 2 years (Preferred)
