Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Manual Tester to join a great team. This is an on site position in Washington DC.
Duties
- Work and report within an Agile Framework
- Design and test functional components of the system
- Responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of the software products through comprehensive manual testing which includes functional testing, regression testing, smoke testing, integration testing, and 508 compliance testing.
- Provide expertise in the planning, constructing and execution of test scripts.
- Apply business and functional knowledge including testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology to meet the team's overall test objectives. Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable.
- Track defects to closure and keep defect repository up-to-date.
- Perform regression testing to ensure new code doesn't introduce new defects.
- Collaborate with business analysts and developers to fully understand the full scope and impact of each story to the test scenario
- Qualifications
- Clear written and verbal communications skills (English)
- Excellent communication, critical thinking and problem-solving
- 2+ Years Experience with Bachelors
- 2 Years Software Testing
- Active Top Secret Clearance
