Responsibilities:
- Promote the Company’s commitment towards safety to all employees.
- Assist in maintaining the Company’s safety program.
- Perform jobsite safety assessments.
- Assists with injured employees. Provides transportation to medical facilities if needed.
- Assists in completing all forms.
- Responsible for jobsite safety orientation for new employees.
- Assists in performing or collecting paperwork for weekly Tool Box Talks and/or OJT’s.
- Responsible for ensuring that all employees have and are using the proper protective equipment needed to perform the job safely.
- Write reprimands as needed.
- Report if there are any unsafe hazards or conditions on the jobsite. Write jobsite hazard analysis and corrects hazards and/or takes appropriate action in order to get hazards abated.
- Attend and participate in all required company training programs.
- Conform to all company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of OSHA 1926 Construction and 1910 General Industry Standards as they pertain to our business.
- Knowledge of basic accident and injury investigation techniques.
- Ability to assess jobsite hazards and take immediate corrective action.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
