Responsibilities
- Installing heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems.
- Checking tubing joints, pipes, and connections for potential leaks.
- Providing guidance to customers on the proper maintenance of their newly installed equipment.
- Keeping detailed records of completed projects and parts.
- Connecting equipment pipes or tubing to the appropriate fuel, water, or refrigerant sources.
Qualifications
- Working knowledge of low-voltage electrical wiring and high-voltage connections.
- Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have required state and local HVAC technician licenses.
- Certification or associate’s degree from an HVAC program at a technical school and 2+ years as an HVAC installation technician.
Compensation
$40 hourly
