Job Description
BuildingPoint Pacific has a need for an Account Representative - Field Solutions who can be based anywhere within our geographic territory initially. Based on Company needs, a candidate for this opening needs to be able to relocate within our geographic territory if required in the future.
Summary
This position will manage the BPP sales opportunities of Trimble GC/CM Field Solutions product portfolio in assigned territory. Using Solution Sales tactics must sell both hardware and services to our customers and partners. Position will actively seek to grow the business by working with established Key Accounts as well as expanding the new customer base in the region assigned to generate new and incremental business. This position requires the Account Representative - Field Solutions to be away from the employer’s place of business more than 50% of the time interacting with customers at their locations and/or job sites.

- Meet sales quota in the assigned territory by increasing sales to existing accounts and successfully penetrating new accounts.
- Working closely with customers and prospects in territory to increase their knowledge, skills, and focus on Trimble GC/CM products.
- Sell the Trimble GC/CM Field Solutions portfolio of products, such as Robotic Total Stations, 3D Lasers Scanners, Handheld Scanners, Software, as well as VDC professional services
- Cross-sell our large family of products to existing customers who might only have one Trimble GC/CM solution.
- Planning and forecasting the quarterly activity, marketing, and sales figures being careful to make resource requests well in advance of events.
- Working closely with the Building Point Pacific sales team to communicate our message to the market and to communicate market feedback to our team.
- Prepares and presents effective sales proposals to customers and prospects.
- Communicates with sales management during the sales process to enlist help as needed.
- Liaises with other members of the sales team and technical support to solve client problems
- Work with our customers and meet all executives who have a stake in the construction process to ensure that they have a thorough understanding of our Solution and its benefits.
- Proceeds methodically, handling objections, problem solving, and obtaining a thorough understanding of the customers’ needs until the sale is consummated.
- Maintains strong customer relations and satisfaction; proactively and diligently works to ensure customer problems are resolved quickly.
- Use of SalesForce CRM system for managing prospects and customers.
- Help identify metrics from initial projects such as ROI, cost savings from Constructability studies and schedule analyses that assist the Partner and customer in winning approval of funds for additional implementation.
- Monitor activity through our whole team to ensure that the customer is being well treated and professionally managed.
- Operate company or personal vehicle as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a fully accredited college in engineering, construction management or other closely related field; and a minimum of five years of directly related experience in technology sales with a proven track record of selling large deals as well as working with partners to maximize revenue; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Large project or contractor experience and working knowledge of Design thru Construction process as well as basic familiarity with industry processes such as BIM would be a plus. Working familiarity with products such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Trimble Realworks and Navisworks is also desired.

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
The annual pay for this position is: $65,000.00 - 75,000.00 (dependent on experience and location). This job also participates in a commission plan. We also offer a total compensation package in addition to base salary.
