We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to lead a sales team to create an exceptional experience for customers. This role is responsible for selecting, training, coaching, developing and retaining the very best Sales Associates for Marina del Rey Toyota. You are responsible for driving a high-level of performance among the sales team to increase market share, achieve targeted unit sales and profit margins while giving every customer a "truly exceptional" sales experience.
The Sales Desk Manager Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Salary Compensation of $5,550.00. The position also pays a bonus based on the department's performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit .

Responsibilities
- Lead your sales time in a way that supports Marina del Rey Toyota's Vision and Mission
- Setting clear objectives and goals for the sales time to achieve their targeted performance in new and used vehicle sales and gross profit
- Engaging and motivating the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations, and Marina del Rey Toyota's best practices
- Driving the business through a high-level of involvement in day-to-day operations
- Managing the negotiation process with Sales Associates ensuring that customers understand their vehicle purchase options and pricing
- Appraising vehicles for trade
- Partnering with General Manager and General Sales Manager to plan and manage new and used vehicle inventory
- Analyzing the business to determine shortfalls and developing action plans to improve performance
Qualifications
- Proven success in auto retail sales
- Proven leadership ability to mentor and train others
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals
- Ability to drive and motivate sales team
- Ability to achieve an exceptional customer sales experience
- Possess a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
