Job Summary: Teufel Landscape is actively seeking an experienced Maintenance Production Manager to lead our commercial maintenance services and crews. Production Manager will oversee all aspects of commercial landscape maintenance production operations and services, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the landscape maintenance crews, including scheduling, task assignment, and performance monitoring
- Ensure the proper use and scheduled maintenance of landscaping equipment and tools
- Oversee the implementation of landscape maintenance plans, including mowing, trimming, edging, snow plowing, planting (trees & shrubs), hydroseeding and other routine tasks
- Identify and address any issues or concerns that arise during landscape maintenance operations
- Provide guidance and training to landscape crew members to improve their skills and productivity
- Collaborate with the management to develop and implement strategies for improving the quality and efficiency of landscape maintenance services
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any incidents or accidents
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- 4 years of experience in a landscape maintenance supervisory role preferably in a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping & snow removal techniques, and equipment operation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead, train and motivate team members
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills to address challenges that arise in the field
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to safely operate all commercial landscape equipment such as; Mowers, blowers, weed-eaters and hedge-trimmers
