As part of our commitment to our clients, we are looking for a passionate, strategic, and experienced Head of Professional Services to lead, cultivate and scale our Professional Services organization. This leader will be integral in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service as they implement our AI solutions and achieve tangible outcomes.
Position Overview:
The Head of Professional Services will be responsible for leading and growing Elementum AI’s Professional Services organization. This includes overseeing a team of consultants, solutions architects, and project managers to deliver exceptional client outcomes across a variety of industries. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven leader with a good understanding of AI and machine learning, strong client management skills, and a proven track record of building and scaling high-performance teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Strategy:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Professional Services organization, aligning with Elementum AI’s broader goals and growth strategy.
- Lead, manage, and scale the professional services team, ensuring the team has the right capabilities and resources to meet client needs.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and customer success.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders, ensuring successful project delivery, stakeholder management, and long-term relationship development.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and objectives, ensuring that Elementum AI’s solutions drive measurable business value.
- Provide thought leadership and expertise to guide customers through the adoption and implementation of AI-powered solutions.
- Delivery Excellence:
- Oversee the delivery of professional services, ensuring high-quality, on-time, and on-budget execution of client projects.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the implementation of AI-driven solutions, including product configuration, system integration, change management, and training.
- Develop best practices for the implementation of Elementum AI solutions, focusing on repeatability and scalability.
- Process Improvement & Efficiency:
- Continuously assess and improve the processes, tools, and methodologies used by the Professional Services team to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify areas of improvement within the delivery lifecycle and introduce innovations to enhance client outcomes and team performance.
- Sales & Business Development Support:
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Solutions Engineering teams to provide pre-sales support, including client presentations, demonstrations, and scoping.
- Assist in the development of proposals, SOWs, and pricing models.
- Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities within existing accounts.
- Financial & Resource Management:
- Develop and manage the professional services budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to meet client and business needs.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track project success, team productivity, and client satisfaction.
- Team Development:
- Attract, hire, and mentor top talent in the professional services space, building a high-performance, customer-focused team.
- Lead employee development initiatives, including training, career progression, and performance management.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in professional services, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Proven track record in leading high-performing professional services teams, especially in AI, machine learning, or related technology sectors.
- Strong experience with complex software implementations and client-facing consulting in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with managing a P&L and overseeing financials related to service delivery.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, data science, and how these technologies are implemented in enterprise settings.
- Client-Facing Experience: Proven ability to manage high-level client relationships, from initial sales discussions to successful implementation and ongoing support.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage diverse teams across multiple disciplines, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.
- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on both short-term resolution and long-term strategic success.
Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to client sites or internal events (estimated 20-30% of the time).
