Cansel Group is seeking a Manager, Used Equipment Strategy to take full ownership of our used equipment business, starting with Trimble equipment. This is a high-impact, ground-floor leadership role for someone with the ambition and drive to transform an underdeveloped business line into a high-performance revenue stream.
You will lead the end-to-end strategy—from inventory sourcing and pricing to branding, sales enablement, and global distribution. With Trimble-certified gear and other trusted brands, combined with the growing global demand for cost-effective geospatial solutions, the potential is significant—and yours to realize.
In this role, you will...
Strategy & Growth
• Leverage Cansel Group’s distribution channels to drive used equipment revenue.
• Participate in the development and execute a scalable business plan for used Trimble and other surveying and positioning equipment.
• Participate in building a go-to-market strategy, including pricing models, sales channels (direct, partners, auctions), and customer segmentation by region.
• Optimize inventory flows, including trade-ins, lease returns, refurbished stock, and inbound sourcing.
Sales & Marketing Enablement
• Develop product bundles, pricing models, and positioning tailored to key customer segments.
• Partner with marketing & ecommerce to build the used equipment brand and support lead generation.
• Work closely with sales teams to provide training and incentives to support used equipment sales alongside new offerings.
Operations & Accountability
• Ensure high-quality listings with standardized product photos, descriptions, condition reports, and shipping readiness.
• Establish KPIs and provide regular performance reporting to the executive team.
• Serve as the single point of accountability for the used equipment program across all channels.
• Collaborate with multiple internal departments, including Segment, Service, Operations & Sales to optimize go-to-market market strategy & processes
About you...
EXPERIENCE
• 5+ years of experience in equipment sales, product management, or business development.
• Strong understanding of Trimble technology gear and other trusted brands, product lifecycle, or similar technical products.
• Demonstrated success in building or scaling a product line or business unit.
• Fluent in English.
SKILLS
• Strategic thinker with strong entrepreneurial drive.
• Excellent analytical and financial management skills.
• Experience in business development and B2B partner negotiations.
• Ability to work cross-functionally, influence senior leaders, and develop sourcing strategies and scalable programs.
