Responsibilities
- Manage all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
- Communicate effectively and regularly with company management and staff regarding field level activities and project progress/ changes in scopes of work or issues while the job is in progress.
- Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately.
- Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy and client safety policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and run all Toolbox and other on-site safety meetings. Help to create and maintain a safety culture.
- Provide leadership and establish and maintain effective working relationships with the field level project team and subcontractors.
- Coordinate and supervise all ground level field activities.
- Maintain project schedules, identify and solve problems.
- Ensure completion of daily ERP project documentation including Daily Field Tickets, Tailgate H&S meetings, Equipment Inspections and photographs.
- Perform quality control duties and responsibilities.
- Understand the product lines, projects and clients’ needs.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
- Ensure that subcontractors are performing their contractual scope of work.
- Contribute to building a positive team spirit.
- Provide leadership and establish and maintain effective working relationships with the field level project team and subcontractors.
- Assist in the hiring, training and management of all field personnel.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Some college education, preferably in construction management
- 1-3 years of experience in Project Management or related field
- Experience in managing multiple projects at once.
- Valid drivers license with clean history.
- Ability to travel out of town for several days and occasionally several weeks.
- Ability to work at heights.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
