Job Summary
The Self Perform Superintendent is responsible to supervise the field construction of a project and to complete the work on schedule, within budget, and to maintain the safety and quality of workmanship specified.
SALARY RANGE: $125,000.00 - $240,000.00 annually
(companywide)

Job Responsibilities
- Exercise general supervision of multiple job sites to monitor and manage projects during each phase of construction, including but not limited to pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction.
- Coordinate and supervise all construction activities.
- Collaborate with Preconstruction efforts related to productions, sequencing, and logistics.
- Direct and track field productions and personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to plans and specifications.
- Prior to work project material and equipment to be used. Work with Grizzly so they understand your projections and update as necessary.
- Support, Lead and facilitate BNB apprentice and leadership training programs
- Hire, mentor, evaluate and promote craftsperson.
- Create and maintain construction schedule; identify and solve problems.
- Order materials, equipment, and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the process.
- Has knowledge and experience with other trades scope of work.
- Can manage self-performed duties with BNB labor.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers, and other employers.
- Prepare schedules and supervise completion of a final punch list.
- Understand Company Safety program and planning involved to promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices, and rectify job site hazards immediately. Walk work to be performed and confirm Pretask planning has taken place. As work begins conduct a safety Audit as often as needed to confirm work is being performed safely. Set expectations for foreman to feel empowered to stop work if necessary.
- Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy.
- Create site logistic plans and maintains an organized, clean job site, including the construction office.
Qualifications
- Desirable study concentration in construction management.
- One year of relevant experience in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of construction. Should be experienced in managing multiple projects.
- Organized with a systematic approach to achieve accuracy and efficiency.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage diverse personalities.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience.
- Computer knowledge and efficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of project management software programs.
- Broad understanding of industry.
- Familiarity with requirements of drawings and specifications and with terms and conditions of project contracts, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good math/accounting skills.

- Strong ability to read drawings and specifications.

Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction.
