Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Land Acquisition, based in Charleston, SC. The Director of Land Acquisition will oversee the identification, evaluation, and procurement of land to support Lennar’s residential development initiatives. Responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, engaging in contract negotiations, evaluating land use plans, and facilitating due diligence. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and local partners will be vital to ensure alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Contract Negotiation and Acquisitions
- Strong knowledge of Land Use Planning and Land Development
- Experience conducting Due Diligence and feasibility analysis
- Leadership skills with the ability to guide teams and processes
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Urban Planning, Real Estate, or a related field
- Experience in the homebuilding industry is a plus
- Familiarity with local Charleston, SC markets and regulations is advantageous
