Compensation: $90,000 - $120,000 DOE plus full benefits

Join one of the leading Civil Engineering and Land Surveying firms in Southern California. This company provides full-service design and engineering for private and public clients on commercial and residential development projects.
We are seeking an experienced Survey Crew Chief for the land survey department. You must have experience leading a crew in all types of surveys, including ALTA, Boundary, Topographic and Construction Staking. You must also possess a valid California Driver’s License in good standing. LSIT or California PLS License a plus. Those with Boundary Analysis, CAD and office experience will be highly considered.
You must:
- Be familiar with boundary surveys, ALTA and construction staking.
- Have a minimum of three years of experience in the field leading a crew in all types of surveys.
- Have familiarity with Trimble Robotic Total Station and Leica GPS Equipment.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Be experienced in reading engineering plans and survey maps.
- Have experience recovering boundary monuments, performing boundary surveys, collecting topographic data and performing construction staking.
- Be proficient in processing field data, keeping field notes, preparing sketches.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
