Harris Construction is searching for a Project Engineer with experience in both field management and preconstruction to join our Construction Management team in the Fresno County area.
The experienced candidate will implement administrative activities to ensure the efficient execution of project contract(s) and that all on-site administrative procedures are consistent with Company-wide practices. This candidate will also maintain a current CPM Schedule for the jobsite, document RFIs, submittals, keep accurate records of all owner requests, contract changes, and more. In addition, you will responsible for the weekly and bi-weekly tracking of meeting minutes for projects in preconstruction, coordinate with owners, architects and consultants related to design, constructability review, value engineer tracking and work with our estimating department on budget updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management
- Strong understanding of construction management and project scheduling
- Experience with Bluebeam and GIS applications
- Familiarity with construction estimating and technical writing
- Excellent project engineering and management skills
Physical Demands
- Ability to move around the construction sire, which involves uneven terrain, stairs, and ladders.
- Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 100 pounds.
- Job requires prolonged standing and walking in variable weather conditions.
- Must have clear vision, including peripheral and depth perception.
- Must be able to hear instructions and warnings on site.

Pay: $62,442.14 - $70,424.95 per year
