Role Description
The Field Survey Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Southern California. This position involves conducting fieldwork for various tasks, including setting ground control, identifying base station locations, working in remote areas, and assisting with LiDAR data collection. The technician will also collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion and quality data delivery to clients.
Qualifications
- Expertise in setting control in California
- Experienced chainman ready to move up or new Party Chief looking for an opportunity to grow
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and related software (Emlid and Trimble)
- Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments and adapt to various site conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to job sites within California
