Job Summary
The Inventory Associate is responsible for the physical and systematic receiving of inbound products from vendors, cycle counts, order picking, and staging. This position works with multiple departments to ensure accurate inventory movements. This role ensures accurate inventory levels, timely order fulfillment, and a safe, organized warehouse to support the overall operation.
SALARY RANGE: $31.00 - $34.00 hourly, $64,480.00 - $70,720.00 annually

Job Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders or manifests, and systematically put away product into correct locations using established procedures and location systems.
- Perform routine cycle counts and participate in full physical inventories to ensure inventory records match physical stock.
- Identify and report damaged goods, inventory variances, or other descprensies.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies to identify root cause and report findings to warehouse leadership.
- Maintain a highly organized, labeled, clean, and safe storage areas.
- Consistantly collaborate with the Purchasing, Customer Solutions, and Warehouse teams to ensure alignment.
- Using pick tickets, pull and stage needed consumables and materials for outbound shipment.
- Processes will call orders for sales items, ensuring transactions are completed in real time.
- Utilize warehouse equipment to assist in the loading, unloading and storing of materials, consumables, tools, and equipment. Warehouse equipment includes, but is not limited to industrial powered lift trucks, scissor lifts, ladders, and pallet wrapping machines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of recent warehouse inventory experience, with demonstrated proficiency in receiving/putaway, cycle counting, and order picking/staging.
- High degree of personal organization, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Strong drive, self-motivation, and ownership. Able to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting productivity and accuracy targets.
- Intermediate comprehension of computer systems, communication, previous use of RF scanners and barcode technology.
- 2+ years of experience with a warehouse management system or implementation of calaloguing/bin system layout preferred.
- High degree of time management and prioritization in a fast paced environment.
- Forklift and Scissor Lift certification.
- Knowledge of inventory control principles such as FIFO, ABC analysis, slotting, picking ergonomics, and bin location.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to read and respond to emailed inquiries from customers and/or employees.
- Safety-oriented.

Capable of traversing over construction-type terrain when under development; moving through the construction site and the materials in place for use on the site; climbing ladders and temporary stairways; conducting visual inspections of quality of construction and materials being used in construction.
