Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Human Resources Specialist located in San Diego, CA. The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for managing recruitment and onboarding processes, administering employee benefits, maintaining compliance with HR policies, and assisting with employee relations. Additional responsibilities include conducting training sessions, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting overall HR initiatives to foster a positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, and employee onboarding
- Knowledge of HR policies, labor regulations, and compliance management
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including record keeping and attention to detail
- Proficiency in communication, interpersonal relationship building, and team collaboration
- Skills in conducting training sessions or leading workshops
- Ability to manage conflict resolution and employee relations effectively
- Strong knowledge of HR software and productivity tools
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
- Previous experience in the Fire-Life Safety industry or related fields is an advantage
