Casper Company is seeking a driven and hands-on Safety Coordinator to help lead safety initiatives across our demolition and environmental remediation projects.
We are a well-established Southern California contractor specializing in commercial demolition, asbestos abatement, and environmental hazard mitigation. Safety is central to everything we do and we are looking for a professional who shares that commitment.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct job site safety inspections and audits
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
- Assist in maintaining and updating our Injury & Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
- Work directly with superintendents and management to enforce safety standards
- Support job walks with estimators to identify hazards
- Deliver safety training and mentor employees
- Ensure compliance with Cal/OSHA and client safety requirements
- Initiate and monitor Worker's Compensation Claims
- Work with Director, Safety Director and HR & EHS Director to ensure WC's cases are managed appropriately
- Create safety documentation required by customers and agencies
What We’re Looking For:
- 3+ years of construction or demolition safety experience
- Strong understanding of Cal/OSHA regulations
- Experience conducting accident investigations
- OSHA 30 (preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work both in the field and office

Pay: $47,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
