Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Sales Manager to lead our automotive sales team to new heights. This energetic leader will oversee all aspects of the dealership’s sales operations, drive revenue growth, and cultivate a high-performance sales environment. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a passion for high-end sales, and a strategic mindset to develop and execute effective sales strategies. Duties
- Lead and manage the entire sales team, setting clear goals and motivating staff to achieve or exceed targets
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to increase market share and maximize profitability
- Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation through closing deals, ensuring consistent follow-up and customer engagement
- Conduct regular training sessions on B2B (business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-consumer) sales techniques, including negotiation, upselling, and effective communication
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate with marketing teams to promote high-end vehicles through targeted campaigns
- Utilize CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software to track leads, monitor sales performance, and optimize outreach efforts
- Foster a culture of excellent customer service by ensuring staff adhere to phone etiquette, professional public speaking, and outstanding retail math skills
- Oversee dealership inventory management and control to meet sales goals while maintaining proper inventory levels
- Conduct outbound sales activities such as cold calling and networking to generate new business opportunities
- Support the sales team with deal negotiations, leveraging strong negotiation skills to close high-value deals efficiently
- Organize regular performance reviews and provide coaching to enhance individual and team capabilities
Experience
- Proven experience in automotive or high-end retail sales management with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Extensive background in outside sales, B2B sales, and dealership operations with demonstrated success in lead generation and closing deals
- Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages (bilingual/multilingual skills are highly valued)
- Familiarity with CRM software platforms used for managing customer relationships and tracking sales pipelines
- Experience in inventory management, retail math, and automotive inventory control processes
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Public speaking experience for presentations or promotional events is preferred
- Knowledge of automotive industry standards including dealership practices, automobile sales procedures, and customer service excellence

Pay: $150,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
