The VP, Procurement & Strategic Sourcing is an enterprise leader responsible for defining and executing Lennar’s strategy for all indirect spend categories, including technology, professional services, facilities, marketing, and other corporate services. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this executive partners closely with technology and business leadership to drive enterprise value through strategic sourcing, supplier governance, financial stewardship, and procurement transformation. This role establishes best-in-class procurement capabilities that align investment decisions with Lennar’s broader business and technology objectives.
Your Responsibilities On The Team
- Lead the enterprise indirect procurement strategy, ensuring alignment with Lennar’s business priorities, technology roadmap, and long-term growth objectives.
- Establish and oversee strategic sourcing frameworks that optimize enterprise spend, enhance
- Build and maintain executive-level partnerships with key suppliers, service providers, and strategic vendors, ensuring strong governance, commercial discipline, and long-term value creation.
- Design and implement procurement governance models that enable transparent, compliant, and data-driven investment and sourcing decisions.
- Provide enterprise-wide visibility into indirect spend, supplier commitments, and investment portfolios to support leadership prioritization and resource allocation.
- Lead financial management and cost optimization initiatives related to technology and indirect procurement, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Develop and present clear, data-driven business cases and financial analyses for major investments, partnerships, and sourcing strategies.
- Define and track key performance indicators to measure procurement effectiveness, supplier outcomes, and business impact.
- Establish and evolve the procurement operating model, driving process standardization, continuous improvement, and scalable best practices.
- Serve as a strategic advisor and business partner to the CTO and senior leadership, supporting technology planning, operational rhythms, and enterprise initiatives.
- Lead communication and change management efforts associated with procurement transformation, sourcing strategies, and supplier transitions.
- Build, develop, and lead a high-performing procurement organization, setting clear objectives, developing talent, and fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration. supplier performance, and mitigate risk across all indirect categories.
- Partner cross-functionally with technology, finance, legal, and business leaders to support enterprise initiatives through structured problem solving and disciplined execution.
Your Toolbox
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree required.
- Typically requires 15+ years of progressive experience, including senior leadership roles in
- Demonstrated experience partnering with technology organizations and leading technology procurement, vendor strategy, or IT financial management strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to lead enterprise-level strategy, influence executive stakeholders, and drive complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience developing business cases, managing large budgets, and leading complex financial assessments.
- Exceptional executive communication skills, with the ability to translate complex procurement and financial topics into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred).
- Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams in dynamic, project-based environments.
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and change leadership skills.
- Flexibility for occasional travel.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the incumbent to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary
