Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant who applies principals of accounting to analyze, record and reconcile financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of journal entries with supporting documentation
- Preparation and maintenance of excel spreadsheets for account analysis and reporting
- Responsible for cash reconciliation
- Responsible for all company inventory reconciliations
- Capitalization and depreciation of fixed assets
- Collects appropriate data to prepare sales tax returns, 1099s and other informational and/or compliance reporting
- Be able to work independently
- Support financial operations by performing complex accounting services related to preparing, analyzing, maintaining and reviewing various financial statements, records and reports
- Other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting, finance, economics or related business administration field. Minimum two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
