Role Description
Ferrocrete Builders Inc. is seeking a full-time Field Layout / Trimble Operator for an on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating Trimble equipment, conducting field layouts for concrete construction projects, and managing equipment maintenance. This role will involve ensuring accuracy in layouts, collaborating with construction teams, and maintaining operational efficiency for equipment used on-site.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Equipment Operation and Heavy Equipment handling.
- Perform Field Layout for: Footings, Anchor Bolts, Slab Edges, Vertical Elments, Embeds, Control and Elevations.
- Experience operating and maintaining Trimble or similar surveying and layout systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical specifications
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site, team-oriented environment
- Prior experience in concrete construction or a related field is an asset
- Operate Trimble equipment and upload/manage layout points
- Read and interpret structural drawings and shop drawings
- Coordinate with field superintendents, foremen, detailers, and project engineers
- Verify layout accuracy before concrete placement
- Assist with maintaining organized layout files and revisions
- Valid driver’s license
