- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to confirm job scope and clarify assumptions.
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor bids, pricing, and proposals.
- Prepare and deliver bid documentation and proposals for review and submission by established deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records of all estimates, databases, cost histories, and assumptions.
- Update estimates in response to design changes and scope revisions throughout the pre-bid process.
- Support project teams post-award with cost tracking and change order evaluation as needed.
- Monitor industry trends and material cost fluctuations to improve estimating accuracy and competitiveness.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and pricing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Proficiency with estimating tools and software (Bluebeam, PlanSwift, ProEst, Procore, or similar)
- Strong analytical and math skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Industry certifications such as Certified Professional Estimator (CPE)
- Experience with historical cost databases and budget forecasting
- Familiarity with local codes and regulations

- Collaborative team environment where your expertise is valued
- Stable pipeline of interesting, high-quality projects
- Competitive pay and benefits
