- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including studio technology executives, VFX supervisors, directors of photography, and production technology vendors.
- Represent Leica at industry events, trade shows, and on-set engagements (e.g., NAB, Cine Gear, HPA Tech Retreat).
- Contribute to go-to-market strategy, commercial positioning, and long-term adoption goals including studio mandate programs.
- Monitor competitive landscape and M&E production technology trends to inform strategic decisions.
Application Engineering & Technical Support

- Support customers through the full adoption lifecycle: pre-sale evaluation, on-set integration, workflow troubleshooting, and post-production handoff.
- Develop application documentation, workflow guides, and training materials specific to M&E use cases.
- Provide structured product feedback and field intelligence to internal product management and engineering teams.
- Apply expertise in Hexagon/Leica SLAM-based platforms (BLK series and related) to accelerate technical evaluations and support customer onboarding.
Required Qualifications

- Hands-on expertise with SLAM-based LiDAR or spatial computing systems.
- Background in robotics, sensor fusion, or real-time spatial data systems.
- Proven experience in technical sales, application engineering, solutions consulting, or B2B business development in a complex, long-cycle sales environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to operate independently in an early-stage commercial environment with limited direct oversight.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with film or television production workflows, camera systems, or production technology (virtual production, LED volume, VFX, motion capture, or similar).
- Experience selling to or working with studios, production companies, or rental/distribution partners in the M&E space.
- Knowledge of virtual production tools and real-time rendering pipelines (Unreal Engine, disguise, Mo-Sys, or similar).
- Having an existing professional network within the Los Angeles M&E or production technology community is highly desired.
- Experience supporting product beta programs or field-based validation efforts.
Working Conditions
- Field-based role; primary territory is Los Angeles and surrounding production hubs.
