Purpose
Provide overall support for BCCI’s marketing and business development efforts through participation in and coordination of the RFQ/RFP process, assisting with interview preparation, assisting with information management for the department including company and individual project portfolio, project photography, site logistics plans, project approach, and client testimonials and references. Monitor and provide training in the delivery of a consistent brand and image for BCCI. Contribute to company’s culture, mission and values through thought leadership and actions.
Representative Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage the RFP & RFQ process for the specific geographic areas and emerging markets. Provide accurate and timely data collection to prepare a variety of negotiated and competitive bid responses. Create marketing packages, qualifications responses, proposals and presentation materials for marketing and business development as directed.
- Assist in departmental information management including data archiving and maintenance for company and individual project portfolio, project photography, site logistics plans, project approach, and client testimonials and references.
- Maintain the BCCI website including producing a current and accurate representation of the company on the web, producing internal edits, contracting for outsourced services where required and managing website content.
- Assist in maintaining a BCCI CRM database. Maintain current and accurate data for marketing department database.
- Branding. Assist the marketing department with developing a plan to work with internal and outsourced consultants on design development for marketing collateral, ad placements, sponsorships and special events.
- In coordination with Senior Sales Associate, perform event planning to ensure BCCI is represented as appropriate at industry events.
- Manage a corporate communications program for the separate business units so that BCCI becomes a recognized name in new markets and practice areas to the same degree as it has achieved in San Francisco. Client coordination.
- Contribute to company’s culture, mission and values through thought leadership and actions.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.

Education
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
- Thorough understanding of marketing and business development processes specific to the construction industry.
- Working knowledge of company and departmental software programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, Prolog, Quark, Illustrator, and CRM programs.
- Working knowledge of graphic design and presentation creation skills.
- Creative production capabilities.
Experience
- 3-5 years experience in marketing and business development.
- 1-2 years in construction industry
