Summary
We seek an experienced and dynamic Pre-construction Director to lead our pre-construction efforts in Hawaii. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of experience in the commercial mechanical construction industry, a strong background in design and engineering, and proven expertise in estimating and sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all pre-construction activities, including design, engineering, and estimating, to ensure successful project planning and execution.
- Work closely with sales teams to develop competitive bids and proposals, leveraging your estimating expertise to drive business growth.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout pre-construction.
- Apply your proficiency in Revit, Trimble, and AutoBid to enhance project planning, design accuracy, and cost estimation.
- Stay updated on Hawaii's local building codes and regulations, ensuring all pre-construction activities comply with relevant standards and requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in the commercial mechanical construction industry, focusing on pre-construction roles.
- Strong background in design and engineering, with expertise in estimating and sales. Proficiency in Revit, Trimble, and AutoBid is required.
- Preference for candidates with a stable work history and local experience. Relocation support is available for exceptional candidates.
- Familiarity with major mechanical contractors and a track record of success in similar roles.
