As our Maintenance Technician, you will provide overall maintenance support for our Plant Operations, Facility and Industrial equipment.
Position Related Responsibilities And Key Job Duties
- Perform skilled maintenance and repair of Industrial Production and Facility equipment including fillers, Conveyors, Box-Formers, Boilers, Chillers, HVAC, Wastewater, And Treated Water Systems.
- Complete building maintenance tasks and troubleshoot equipment safely and efficiently to support plant and departmental goals while meeting Quality, Service, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and cost objectives.
- Satisfactorily complete lift training courses and safely operate a forklift and high reach.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track all work.
- Properly trouble-shoot and maintains production lines and/or batching/processing equipment.
Education And Additional Qualification
- High school Diploma or GED equivalent; Associates or technical degree is preferred.
- Must be able to achieve a passing score at the Tech 1 level of the Maintenance Technician evaluation
- Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing maintenance with prior diagnostic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance experience are needed
- Working knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC), mechanical, electrical, lubrication, fabrication, pneumatic and hydraulics are required.
- Prior welding experience is preferred.
