Project Superintendent – Overview
FBE’s Project Superintendent is the on-site leader responsible for delivering high-quality construction safely, on schedule, and in alignment with plans, specifications, and company standards. This role requires strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Core Duties
- Lead daily field operations and subcontractor coordination
- Maintain project schedule and communicate progress weekly
- Enforce safety, cleanliness, and OSHA compliance
- Track materials, verify quality, and inspect deliveries
- Ensure work aligns with drawings and approved scope
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and field documentation
- Conduct daily stand-ups and weekly safety meetings
- Maintain organized job site files and postings
Qualifications
- High school diploma (construction-related coursework preferred)
- 3+ years supervising large commercial projects
- Hospitality renovation experience preferred
- Strong ability to read drawings and schedules
- OSHA knowledge; First Aid/CPR required within 180 days
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
Travel
- Project-based travel required
