As a Manufacturing Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing key drivers of product costs through SAP system and perform cost analyses. You will also assist in annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and 5-year planning.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Analyze key drivers of product costs, including material, labor and overhead analysis as it flows through SAP system. Implement (and/or design as necessary) new processes to analyze conversion costs, actual vs. benchmark and like processes for the local manufacturing location. Develop and monitor cost trends for raw materials to analyze the effects of pricing changes vs. volume changes. Perform cost analyses using SAP and BW and develop models for special projects as necessary. Provide analysis on Make-Buy, standardization and incremental cost improvements to the manufacturing organization. Positively contribute to the SIOP process for the local manufacturing organization and the Home Office inventory planning team. (70%)
Lead the FP&A function with the Home Office FP&A team for your local manufacturing location in the following critical areas: Annual budgeting, Monthly forecasting and5-year planning. Demonstrate effective communication skills within the organization and Home Office. Perform Ad hoc reporting and analytics using BPC and BW. (30%)
Desired Skills And Experience

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- CGMA preferred.
- 5 years Accounting and Analytic Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Expert knowledge and proficiency in SAP.
- S/4 Hana a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of T-codes used in FICO / MM / PP / SD, and processing tables.
- Expert knowledge and proficiency in Excel (Advanced).
- Expert knowledge and proficiency with other MS Office applications including Word, Outlook, and Business Objects with experience in creating specialized ad hoc reports.
- BPC knowledge a plus.
- Driven and prepared to take a hands-on and proactive approach to work.
- Position demands critical thinking and problem solving skills. Ability to have the highest standards of accuracy and precision. Ability to identify options for solving a problem and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses.
- Ability to work collaboratively, partner and support other functions.

$80000 - $109600 / year
