YOU
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing all warehouse, shipping and receiving, and inventory aspects of a specialized warehouse in Stockton, CA.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Coordinate the organization of work within the department by attending daily performance meetings, analyzing of daily department results, collaborating with other departments to resolve issues, correspond with internal and external customers as needed, manage scheduling of personnel to meet demand. Establish and maintain relationships with logistics vendors. Activities are focused on mid to longer term planning needs to the success of the department. (50%)
Manage staffing and development of employees within the department by participating in interviewing & hiring activities, training, and coaching of employees. (25%)
Manage employee performance by leading and motivating employees using effective performance management techniques, including establishing expectations and goals, providing recognition and feedback, and addressing performance problems. (10%)
Improve the flow of work through the department, and gain mid to long term efficiencies by providing guidance and direction the team in continuous improvement efforts. (10%)
Maintain employee relations by ensuring that employee timecards are managed and accurate, resolving issues in a timely matter and consistent with company policies. (5%)
Desired Skills And Experience

- Undergraduate degree in business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 5+ years experience in warehouse and logistics management required.
- 5 years experience with Inventory Control and Supply Chain processes required.
- SAP experience or other comparable ERP system required.
- Microsoft Excel experience required.
- Analysis: Ability to analyze and collect data and make sound business judgments.
- Self-Management: Display a high level of initiative, effort and commitment towards completing assignments in a timely manner. Manage multiple projects and completing priorities.
- Teamwork: Build and sustain cooperative working relationships.
- Attention to Detail: Achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task.
- Problem Solving: Identify options for solving a problem and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses.
- Speaking: Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Writing: Write in a clear, concise, and organized manner for the intended audience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment and needs to constantly position self to maintain the operation of equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly works around moving mechnical parts. Noise level is loud. The job may risk exposure to dust, heat and or cold, wet or humid conditions.
Travel Required
This position may require domestic travel up to 10% of the time.

This full-time, exempt position is located in Stockton, CA.

Relocation is not available for this position.
PAY
$68,500 - $109,600 / year
