Job Title: Electronic Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA (100% In Office)
As an Electronic Engineer on our digital hardware team, you will contribute your skills to the design, development, and testing of digital systems and components, collaborating closely with RF, Digital, and Mechanical design engineering teams to develop and implement automation systems within our validation and debug test systems.
What Skills, Knowledge, Experience You Should Bring
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field
- A strong interest in and enthusiasm for hands-on work and experimentation
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and create schematic diagrams.
- Experience documenting clear and concise fixture assembly instructions
- Familiarity with Fast Fourier Transforms (FFTs) and frequency harmonics
- Proficiency in using Python for communication with external hardware
- Competence in operating standard laboratory equipment, including power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and soldering irons
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration
- Capacity to manage tasks independently and contribute effectively within a team setting
What You Will Do
- Learn and run current test methods and procedures for Engineering Verification Test (EVT), Design Verification Test (DVT), Production Validation Test (PVT), and field-returned failure analysis
- Construct an architecture to allow more efficient, thorough, robust, and repeatable test systems
- Work with RF, Digital, and mechanical design teams to refine system proposals
- Design and verify necessary PCB test boards, and fixture assemblies
- Implement automation tests using python
- Read engineering specification documents to verify that all necessary tests are implemented
- Report results of test systems to design teams
- Manage multiple products and test procedures at once
