Oracle EBS Supply Chain & Global Trade Management Technical Specialist
Role Overview
We are seeking a technical specialist to develop, support, and integrate Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) solutions across the Supply Chain modules and trade compliance lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle SCM technical skills with an understanding of export compliance and audit requirements, and can work across Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Trade Compliance, and Finance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, customize, and support Oracle EBS R12 solutions across Order Management, Inventory, Shipping (WSH), Purchasing, and Receivables, with a focus on supply chain processes.
- Design, build, and maintain Oracle GTM integrations with EBS, including item and classification synchronization, party and account data flows, and compliance screening interfaces.
- Support trade compliance processes such as denied party screening, export classification (ECCN/HTS), license and sanctions checks, and shipment hold logic, ensuring technical controls are documented and auditable.
- Design and build integrations between Oracle EBS, Oracle Cloud, and third-party SaaS applications using APEX web service calls, REST/SOAP services, and middleware such as Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or Boomi.
- Analyze order-to-cash and trade compliance business processes and translate functional requirements into technical designs and working solutions (RICEW: reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows).
- Troubleshoot production issues across order, shipping, and GTM flows, including interface failures, External System and transmission errors, and data synchronization discrepancies. Provide root-cause analysis and remediation.
- Partner with Trade Compliance, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance stakeholders on audit requests, control design, and remediation tracking.
- Document technical designs, unit test cases, reconciliation queries, and support procedures, and follow change-control and compliance sign-off requirements for any changes affecting screening or classification data.
Required Qualifications
- Oracle EBS R12 Architecture: Solid understanding of the R12 technology stack, multi-org structure, application and schema layout, concurrent processing, and the underlying data model.
- Supply Chain and Order to Cash: Proficient in Oracle SCM and well versed in the order-to-cash cycle, including order entry, holds, pricing, shipping, invoicing, and receivables, and the module interactions (OM, INV, WSH, AR) that drive the flow end to end.
- Oracle GTM: Hands-on experience with Oracle Global Trade Management or Transportation Management, including item and classification setup, compliance screening, and EBS-to-GTM integration configuration.
- Trade Compliance Fundamentals: Working knowledge of export control and trade compliance concepts such as denied party screening, export classification, licensing, and audit trail requirements.
- APEX and SaaS Integration: Hands-on experience making APEX web service calls to SaaS applications from within the Oracle native environment, including consuming and exposing REST/SOAP services, and handling authentication (including OAuth 2.0), payloads, and error handling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong PL/SQL, SQL, and performance-tuning skills, including reconciliation and audit queries comparing data across dated extracts.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud SCM, GTM, and hybrid EBS-to-Cloud integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Boomi or other iPaaS platforms, BI Publisher, and Oracle Workflow.
- Experience in SOX, ISO, or other audit-driven environments, and familiarity with global trade regulations (EAR, ITAR, customs) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical teams and compliance or business stakeholders
