The Project Engineer (PE) is the horsepower behind the process and timely information flow. Understanding the urgency and accuracy of information is critical to providing great service to the field. The PE takes complete ownership in all aspects of his/her area of influence whether or not directly responsible for a particular task. In order to function at the highest level, the PE must have a “whatever-it-takes” attitude and a “servant” mindset to achieve superior results in alignment with the best interest of the team and the Project Performance Objectives.
The Project Engineer primarily serves the Production and Preconstruction Process. Effective communication with the owner, architect, inspector, building department, and subcontractors is essential. The Project Engineer is required to achieve superior results in seven project management objectives (Client Satisfaction, Company Contribution, Gross Profit, Quality, Safety, Schedule, and Team Development). The roles and performance expectations listed below represent the majority of responsibilities a PE will be engaged in on a project. Other technical applications will be required from time to time and all divisions of focus of work will be coordinated by the PM, Super and/or Senior Project Engineer.

Physical Demands:
- This is a field and/or office position with work occurring on one or multiple sites at a time. Working from the job site and/or visiting multiple projects is required. Occasional exposure to dust, fumes, chemicals, and loud noise. Includes climbing, accessing high places, carrying and being in proximity to moving mechanical parts. Requires frequent bending, reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking and lifting 20 lbs. or more.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
