The Construction Scheduling Manager is responsible for proactive management of field schedules in BuildPro™ to reduce cycle time, increase accuracy in completion dates and lower construction costs.

Your Responsibilities On The Team
- Construction and Team Management: Oversee and manage scheduling processes of 200+ homes under construction using Build Pro, whether coordinating a team of expeditors or directly managing home schedules, ensuring efficient operations and timely task completion to ensure project profitability.
- Data Accuracy and Analysis: Independently analyze field audits from construction managers for accuracy in Build Pro™. Monitor and address missing cost codes, MPOs, trade info pull-through, and payment issues.
- Trade Partner Performance: Identify and address trade partner non-performance, balance workload, and provide performance metrics for 50+ trade partners across communities.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide reporting metrics and feedback on Build Pro™ scheduling templates. Communicate scheduling guidance and performance metrics to trade partners and construction teams.
- Procedures and Documentation: Develop procedures for documenting and reporting delays. Act as a liaison between Permit Coordinator, Purchasing, Construction, and Build Pro support.
- Resource Management: Coordinate and monitor construction activities and resource allocation. Make recommendations on resource procurement to the Director of Construction and Purchasing.
- Support and Improvement: Provide feedback to Level 2 support to enhance the experience of construction managers and trade partners with Build Pro/Supply Pro™.
- Leadership and Mentoring: Lead, coach, and mentor team members to ensure top performance and effective solutions that add overall organizational value.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in construction industry.
- Must have had experience as a construction manager or equivalent job.
- Must possess professional attitude to represent the company in a positive manner.
- Valid Driver’s License with good driving record.
- Valid Auto insurance coverage.
- Advanced PC skills Microsoft Word, Excel, and JD Edwards.
- Excellent follow-up, communication (written and verbal) and time management skills.
- Able to simultaneously perform multiple detail-oriented tasks with little oversight.
Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements
This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and carry office supplies weighing 25 pounds or less. Finger dexterity is required to operate computer keyboard, calculator and telephone equipment. There will be occasional field visits as required to oversee project progress and ensure alignment with scheduling plans.

General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:
We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from an annual salary of $65,058.12 - $96,260, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.
