Industrial company is hiring a Safety Specialist with 2-3 years' experience to maintain and manage an EH&S program through evaluating work environments for potential risks and hazards. They will further put measures in place to ensure that the company promotes environmental, health and safety of employees and complies with OSHA standards. Responsibilities will also include conducting safety meetings, investigating and reporting any accidents. This person will design, implement, maintain, and oversee both new and existing programs as well as develop training and educational materials, and conduct training and testing for employees. The ideal candidate will have completed coursework in Safety and Risk Management and will be familiar with administrative safety reporting to various third party safety information companies. Some travel within California and some field work may be required.
