A Construction Worker’s responsibilities primarily focus on completing building projects in a timely and effective manner. The following are some responsibilities and duties of a Construction Worker:
- Taking apart or constructing scaffolding, bracing and other temporary structures
- Digging trenches and backfilling holes
- Operating equipment and heavy machinery
- Following instructions from construction project managers and supervisors
- Loading and unloading building materials
- Removing hazardous materials and debris from the work site
- Assisting trade workers, such as carpenters or electricians
- Controlling the work site by putting up barriers and signs or directing traffic

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
