Job Summary: Sales Engineer
Train, support, and maintain technology equipment for the earth moving industry. Ensure training and support agreements are maintained and executed in a professional manner through regular scheduled training and in field support. Develop an open line of communications with key operational and management personnel that ensures a successful relationship with our customers. Help promote SITECH Pacific as a leader in the field and ensuring maximum market share by promoting the team concept through professionalism and technical expertise.
Essential Functions:
- Direct interface with customer and distributors with onsite installation, training, and field implementation of Trimble’s Civil Construction Product Solutions.
- Work with the regional sales team in the implementation of customer development to increase sales of products and services.
- Interface with customer management and field personnel providing product training, assistance with job site demonstrations to win major account sales.
- Provide internal and customer technical sales support
- Support strategic partnerships
- Participate in new product releases and beta cycles to ensure information and training requirements are met to support new product sales
- Provide outstanding quality pre-sale support with a high degree of customer satisfaction, technical expertise, with a thorough and timely response to customers.
- Building Technological workflows and solutions
- Work with field technicians and sales to improve their technological prowess
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with earthmoving, paving and/or road milling operations
- A team player who is solution driven with the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Strong technical problem solving and analytical skills.
- Maintains sense of urgency and driven to solve customer problems.
- Experience in handling difficult or sensitive situations.
- Ability to make sound decisions based on customer needs and technical knowledge.
- Ability to prioritize competing tasks.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to coach and teach people.
- Strong aptitude in land surveying techniques
- Experience with Trimble, Topcon or Leica Guidance Solutions
- Possesses integrity and good character.
- Familiar with CAD based software solutions
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Hydraulics and Heavy Construction Machinery Preferred
- Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Able to achieve MSHA certification.
- Must complete site specific training and pit driving, as it pertains to contracted site.
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
