AX9 Security, Inc. is looking for two dedicated and professional unarmed security guards to join our team in Moonachie, NJ. This full-time position pays $18.00 per hour and is available for the 8 AM to 4 PM and 10 AM to 6 PM shifts. Candidates must be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be able to monitor security systems effectively while ensuring a safe and secure environment.

Job Responsibilities

Monitor CCTV cameras to ensure site security and report any suspicious activity
Answer and make phone calls professionally, providing clear and accurate information when needed
Maintain detailed logs and reports, including incident reports, visitor logs, and any security-related activities
Utilize Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for report documentation and site-specific tasks
Patrol assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access and ensure the safety of personnel and property
Collaborate with team members and site management to maintain a secure work environment
Assist with access control, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas

Qualifications & Requirements

Must have an active guard card
Basic computer skills – must be proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
CCTV monitoring experience – ability to review and analyze security footage
Strong phone communication skills – must be able to answer and relay information professionally
Excellent note-taking skills – ability to document incidents and maintain accurate records
Reliable transportation – must have a dependable way to get to and from work
Team-oriented mindset – ability to work effectively with security staff and warehouse personnel
Must be available for last-minute call-outs if another guard is unable to work
Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
