Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications, particularly focusing on mobile applications and .NET environments. This position requires a strong understanding of software architecture, debugging techniques, and the ability to gather business requirements effectively.

Duties

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Perform thorough debugging of applications to identify defects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
Utilize tools such as GitHub for version control and collaboration on testing processes.
Conduct performance testing to ensure applications meet specified standards.
Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate testing into the deployment pipeline.
Document testing processes, results, and any identified issues for future reference.
Participate in architecture discussions to provide insights from a testing perspective.

Requirements

Proven experience in software testing, particularly with mobile applications.
Strong knowledge of MySQL for database testing and validation.
Familiarity with .NET framework and its associated technologies.
Experience in requirements gathering from stakeholders to define clear testing objectives.
Proficiency in debugging techniques to troubleshoot issues effectively.
Understanding of DevOps practices and their application in the software development lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
