Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our software applications, particularly focusing on mobile applications and .NET environments. This position requires a strong understanding of software architecture, debugging techniques, and the ability to gather business requirements effectively.
Duties
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
- Perform thorough debugging of applications to identify defects and ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Utilize tools such as GitHub for version control and collaboration on testing processes.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure applications meet specified standards.
- Work closely with DevOps teams to integrate testing into the deployment pipeline.
- Document testing processes, results, and any identified issues for future reference.
- Participate in architecture discussions to provide insights from a testing perspective.
Requirements
- Proven experience in software testing, particularly with mobile applications.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL for database testing and validation.
- Familiarity with .NET framework and its associated technologies.
- Experience in requirements gathering from stakeholders to define clear testing objectives.
- Proficiency in debugging techniques to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Understanding of DevOps practices and their application in the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong analytical skills.
