We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Demolition Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently dismantling structures, ensuring that all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and project specifications. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various environments.
*We are looking for 1 heavy equipment operator and 2 hand demolition workers*
Duties
- Safely operate power tools and heavy machinery to demolish structures.
- Remove plaster, drywall, tile, stucco, and other materials from buildings.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to assess demolition needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute demolition projects effectively.
- Perform masonry tasks as needed during the demolition process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Assist in the recycling of materials when possible to minimize waste.
Skills
- Proficiency in using power tools and heavy machinery related to demolition work.
- Experience with plaster removal, drywall installation, tile laying, and stucco application.
- Familiarity with construction inspection processes to ensure adherence to safety regulations.
- Ability to read blueprints and project plans for effective execution of tasks.
- Basic welding skills are a plus for handling structural components during demolition.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required.
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively on-site.
