We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-Tech to join our team at West Pico Terrace Assisted Living. As a Med-Tech, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by assisting with the administration of medications and providing essential support to our nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
- Medication Administration: Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Resident Monitoring: Observe residents for changes in condition or adverse reactions to medications and report any concerns to the nursing staff promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of medication administration and resident observations in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Compliance: Adhere to all state and federal regulations regarding medication administration and resident care.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care and address any concerns or questions.
- Assistance with Daily Living: Assist residents with daily activities as needed, including personal care, mobility, and meal support.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the nursing and caregiving team to provide holistic care and support to residents.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must hold a current and valid Med-Tech license in the state of [State].
- Experience: No prior experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
